Diagnostic Automation/Cortez Diagnostics, Inc. offers a OneStep Anti-HBcAb RapiDip Insta Test (5 mm) which is one of the clinical Hepatitis B diagnostic indicators. This HBcAb Rapid Test, one of several Hepatitis Panel Rapid Tests, is for in-vitro diagnostic use only. **

The HBcAb Rapid Test can only detect the presence of Anti-HBc.  The membrane on the HBcAb Rapid Test is pre-coated with Anti-HBc antibodies on the test line region (T).  During the test, the serum or plasma specimen reacts with the gold colloid conjugated HBcAg.  The mixture migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and the Anti-HBc in serum/plasma will compete with the Anti-HBc Antibodies on T line.
