Diagnostic Automation/Cortez Diagnostics, Inc. offers a One Step HBsAg RapiDip Insta Test (5mm strip) which is a direct binding test for the visual detection of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in serum or plasma.  The HBsAg Rapid Test is used as an aid in the diagnosis of hepatitis B infection.    This HBsAg Rapid Test, one of several Hepatitis Panel Rapid Tests, is for in-vitro diagnostic use only. **

The One Step Anti-HBsAg Rapid Test is based on the principle of sandwich immunoassay for determination of HBsAg in serum/plasma.  Monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies are employed to identify HBsAg specifically.  This one step HBsAg Rapid Test is very sensitive and only takes 10-20 minutes.  Sensitivity of this HBsAg Rapid Test is 30 mIU/ml Anti-HBs in serum sample.   Test results are read visually without any instrument.
