B-Lactoglobulin ELISA Kit description:

This B-Lactoglobulin ELISA kit is a quantitative test based on the principle of the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. B- Lactoglobulin ELISA test represents a highly sensitive detection system and is particularly capable of the identification and quantification of bovine milk residues in cookies, cereals, sausage, orange juice, wine, soy products and chocolate.

Materials Provided with beta-lactoglobulin Elisa Kit:
1. Microtiter plate: 12 strips with 8 breakable wells coated with anti-B-lactoglobulin antibodies
2. B-lactoglobulin standards: (0, 10, 40, 100, 400 ppb of B-lactoglobulin): 5 vials
3. Conjugate (anti- B-lactoglobulin peroxidase): 15 mL
4. Substrate Solution (TMB): 15 mL
5. Stop Solution (0.5 M H2SO4): 15 mL
6. Extraction and sample dilution buffer (Tris) 10x
7. Washing Solution (PBS + Tween 20): 60 mL as 10x
8. Plastic bag to store unused microtiter strips
9. Instruction Manual

Materials required but not provided:
1. Freshly distilled or deionized water
2. Dispensing system and/or pipette
3. EIA kit Microplate washer
4. EIA kit Microplate Reader with 450nm wavelength

Beta-Lactoglobulin Elisa Kit Background Information:
Beta-Lactoglobulin is the major whey protein in ruminants and pigs but it is not found in the milk of many other species. Milk from humans appears to be devoid of Beta Lactoglobulin. No function has definitely been ascribed to this protein. The ability of Beta-Lactoglobulin to bind retinol, fatty acids and other hydrophobic substances suggest the biological function of this protein could be the transport of these substances to the newborn. Human infants can develop an allergenic response to cow milk proteins. Beta-Lactoglobulin is the primary antigenic component that stimulates the immune hypersensitivity response in the infant. Symptoms are similar to lactose intolerance. The Diagnostic Automation Milk Residue ELISA test kit is a rapid and reliable test, which significantly reduces the time required to screen food products for the presence of Beta-Lactoglobulin.

Beta-Lactoglobulin Elisa Test Principle:
Beta-Lactoglobulin ELISA Kit is a quantitative test based on the principle of the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. An aflatoxin conjugate is bound on the surface of a microtiter plate an antibody directed against beta-lactoglobulin is bound on the surface of a microtiter plate. beta-Lactoglobulin containing samples or standards are given into the wells of the microtiter plate.

Diagnostic Automation Inc. offers several popular Food ELISA Test Kits: Chloramphenicol ELISA Kit, Fumonisin ELISA Kit, Streptomycin ELISA Kit, Aflatoxin M1 ELISA Kit, Penicillin ELISA Kit, Histamine ELISA Kit, and Verotoxin Antigen in Food ELISA Test Kit. Product Note:

Bovine milk Elisa test kit belongs to the most important allergenic food ingredients especially for children. Already very low amounts of bovine milk can cause allergic reactions, which may lead to anaphylactic shock in severe cases. B-Lactoglobulin ELISA test is a highly sensitive detection system capable of the identification and quantification of bovine milk residues in cookies, cereals, sausage, orange juice, wine, soy products, and chocolate.
